Dave and Erica - I am so sorry to hear about your father. I am sure he WAS very proud of you and what you have accomplished in your life but didn't know how to express it. Perhaps you will see some stubborness in your girls and then you can think of him and smile.

Looks like a wonderful time! Wish we could have been there, but headed back to Napa that quickly just wasn't going to work... We're already thinking about early 2010 and spring 2011. :)

Anything off the grill would pair nicely with this wine. It has a good amount of acid, so I would also recommend soft creamy cheese like a goat cheese. Grilled vegetables would also do well. Serve the wine slightly chilled, but not as cold as your typical refrigerator. If you do serve it cold, you will really enjoy the complexity of the wine as it warms up and all the strawberry and melon aromas and flavors really start to show themselves.

Hey, what kind of meat do you drink this wine with? Also why no screw top on bottles?Plan on opening on Easter Sunday and we want our menu to focus around the wine.
